Getting Into The Holiday Spirit

Hey friends!  I don't know about y'all but I'm starting to get into the holiday spirit.  It's a good thing because we've got a few days less between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year, so, I've started working on my decorating and food plans.  Here's just a couple of things I'll be including this year...
A Southern Soul
Isn't this just the cutest pillow?  I love the message on the fabric that make the trees plus the crowning touch is a sweet, red bell at the tip of each one ~ fun!
A Southern Soul
I bought this new addition to my Christmas decor at a local craft fair this weekend.  I encourage everyone to shop local for your own decorations and gifts.  Local merchants really appreciate our support so let's get all get into the habit of Buying Local First!
Peppermint Marshmallows | A Southern Soul
Homemade marshmallows have become a new tradition in our house.  I made this batch with peppermint flavoring and a touch of natural red food coloring.  They are really easy to make and you can find My Recipe Here.
Marshmallow Gifts | A Southern Soul
I love to give homemade treats to friends and neighbors and these little bags along with some hot chocolate mix brought lots of happy smiles last Christmas.
So, now you can see why I'm getting into the holiday spirit...a little something new mixed with tradition is going to make a very special time in our home this year.
